ABOUT US

We leverage on sports to improve leadership, engage youths and promote mutual understanding

O3 Athletics is a sports management organization that provides a platform for young Nigerian athletes to explore their potential in athletics and fulfill their dreams. We use athletics to engage youths from an early age, as an opportunity for skills and character building, alleviation of juvenile delinquencies and the promotion of peaceful co-existence among them.

Our first major target is to win gold medals in both male and female categories at the 2024 Olympics, and our second target is to have world records broken by Nigerian athletes at the 2025 World Athletics Championship.

At O3 Athletics, we use the universal passion for sports as a way to transcend linguistic and socio-cultural differences, and bring people together. We leverage on sports to improve leadership, engage youths, and promote mutual understanding, transferring lessons from the field; communication, respect and teamwork, into the community.

WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO

Nigeria, with an estimated population of 180 million (approximately 60 times the population of Jamaica) has never won a gold medal in 15 participations at the World Athletics Championship and only 2 at 16 Olympics games.

Thousands of young athletes train daily at various fields and centers across Nigeria but do not have access to proper training facilities, are not well fed, cannot afford supplements and do not have transport fare to get to the training venue.
