Exercising regularly, every day if possible, is the single most important thing anyone can do for their health. No matter the age or fitness level, everyone can learn to use exercise as a powerful tool to feel better, both physically and mentally.

Modest amounts of exercise can make a difference in the mind and the body, as it improves physical fitness and is especially beneficial to people with mild to moderate depression. The FITNESS CLINIC has therefore been designed to bring the awareness of these benefits of regular exercise to everyone, and to encourage them to make it a way of life.

FITNESS CLINIC is a lifestyle program that takes place every last Saturday of the month. It is a fun-filled fitness session where every member of the community is encouraged to take part in group aerobics, jogging and easy games, joined by invited celebrities. Fun is inculcated into every session, to give enough motivation to participants to exercise regularly.

FITNESS CLINIC also provides free medical services on program days, giving first-aid treatment, medical consultation and counselling services on a variety of physical and mental issues.

A form of physical exercise that combines rhythmic exercise with stretching and strength training routines, with the goal of improving all elements of fitness (flexibility, muscular strength, and cardio-vascular fitness).


Trotting or running at a slow or leisurely pace. The main intention is to increase physical fitness with less stress on the body than from faster running, or to maintain a steady speed for longer periods of time.


We do blood pressure examination on every program day to avoid casualties. We also calculate the body mass index calculation of selected participants, to advise on appropriate diet to avoid obesity.

HEART: Exercising regularly lowers blood pressure; improves blood flow; improves workout efficiency; lowers cholesterol; and decreases the risk of heart disease, stroke and diabetes.


BODY: It helps with weight loss; is good for the body; good for the muscles and bones; increases energy levels; reduces the risk of chronic diseases; helps with skin health; helps with brain health and memory; and helps with relaxation and sleep quality.


PREGNANCY: Reduces backaches, constipation, bloating and swelling; helps prevent or treat gestational diabetes; improves the mood; improves posture; and promotes muscle tone, strength, and endurance.


CHILDREN: Improves fitness; it increases concentration; improves academic scores; builds stronger heart, bones and healthier muscles; encourages healthy growth and development; and improves self-esteem.

The benefits of exercise go beyond physical well-being. Exercise helps support emotional and mental health and can reduce feelings of depression and stress, increase energy level and improve sleep.

Age, body size and genes influence how many calories we burn but the most variable factor – and the most easily modified – is the amount of activity people get each day.
